ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., December 01, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — On December 1, 2022, Raymond James Financial, Inc. RJF The Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on shares of its common stock of $0.42 per share, payable January 17, 2023 to shareholders of record January 3, 2023. This is a 24% increase from the previously paid dividend of $0.34 per share October 17, 2022.

The Board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.421875 per depositary share of 6.75% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Series A Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock (NYSE: RJF PrA) and $0.3984375 per depositary share of 6.375% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Series B Non-Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock (NYSE: RJF PrB), each payable January 3, 2023, to shareholders of record December 15, 2022.

The Board of Directors also authorized the repurchase of up to $1.5 billion of the Company’s common stock. The $1.5 billion authorization replaces the previous $1 billion repurchase authorization announced on December 2, 2021, which had approximately $800 million remaining as of December 1, 2022 . The repurchases may be made from time to time at prices the Company deems appropriate depending on market conditions, applicable law, regulatory restrictions related to previously announced acquisitions and other factors. Such repurchases may be made in the open market, in privately negotiated transactions, or otherwise. The Board of Directors’ authorization has no fixed expiry date. The repurchase authorization does not obligate the Company to repurchase any dollar amount or number of securities and may be suspended or terminated at any time.
