Schenectady, NY May 04, 2023 –(– SUNY Schenectady County Community College The Office of Workforce Development and Continuing Education is pleased to announce a new partnership with upright upbringing, a leading provider of online tech boot camps. The partnership aims to provide students with comprehensive and affordable education in the latest technical skills including software development, UX/UI design, technical sales and more.

Demand for tech talent in Schenectady County and the metropolitan area continues to grow, with a significant increase in job openings for software developers, UX/UI designers, and sales developers. According to recent data, there are over 500 vacancies for these positions in this field and the demand is expected to continue to grow in the years to come. There are also job opportunities statewide for residents of the area, as many organizations frequently hire remote workers for roles.

The boot camps offered by Upright Education are aimed at people who want to start a technical career or improve their existing technical skills.
