Trump’s return as president would be ‘holy trinity of the market’

if donald trump were to win back Presidency 2024it would be a “holy trinity” for stocks, according to the founder of Skybridge Capital Anthony Scaramucci.

What happened: Scaramucci, who was briefly the White House communications director for 10 days during the Trump presidency, said Wednesday Trump is the “holy trinity of market lubrication.” reported Wealth.

The Wall Street financier listed the three elements that make up this trinity — “stimulus from deficit spending, low interest rates — easy money — and a lack of regulation,” according to the report.

Why it matters: Trump card announced his candidacy for the presidency on Tuesday. He said in his announcement speech: “Our country is in a terrible state and we are in great trouble.”

The following day, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed down 0.8% and 1.5%, respectively.

Scaramucci also said Trump as a candidate could also induce volatility. “The downside is [investors] also know he’s creating what the markets absolutely hate: political instability,” Fortune reported.

“If any of these other candidates can present themselves with some messages from Trump without the Trump drama, opportunities could arise.”
