AAM Receives Order to Supply E-Beam Axles for a Future Electric…

DETROIT, May 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM), AXL, a leading global Tier 1 automotive supplier of powertrain and metal forming technologies, announced that it has signed a new contract with Stellantis to supply electric beam (e-beam) axles for a future electric vehicle program. Expected to begin production in the second half of the decade, the future program will include both front and rear e-Beam axles that incorporate AAM’s integrated 3-in-1 e-Drive technology.
