Aurora Cannabis is targeting health plans in Canada

Canadian companies are focused on selling medical cannabis to patients whose purchases are covered by employee health insurance plans, MJBizDaily reported. cannabis producer Aurora Cannabis ACB has implemented a benefit-oriented strategy that points to improved customer retention and consistency.

“Those who are in an insured program, by definition, buy more consistently and stick with similar drugs for longer periods of time,” said the CEO Miguel Martin said MJBizDaily. “…The uninsured patients appear to be a little smaller cup size, a little less interaction, and a little more variable.”

Hemp pesticides approved for cannabis flowers in Massachusetts

That Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) announced on Nov. 30 that it had adjusted its policy regarding the use of “pesticides on marijuana.” MDAR will now allow the use of certain pesticides on cannabis plants as long as the conditions are met. The products must be registered with the EPA; for use in Massachusetts; and marked for both hemp and tobacco. In addition, the active ingredient must be food-safe, reported local media.
