Billionaire banter: Buffett crowns Charlie Munger “King Charles”

Warren Buffett’s humorous side showed at Berkshire Hathaway, Inc BRK BRK annual shareholders meeting on Saturday.

The company’s vice chairman shared the podium with Buffett Charlie MungerBuffett’s successor Gregory Abel And vice chairman of the company’s insurance business Ajit Jain.

The “Oracle of Omaha” introduced the company’s directors, who sat in the front rows of the audience. When presenting Munger, he also lightheartedly referred to the coronation of Charles III. and his wife Camilla, which also took place on Saturday.

“I woke up this morning. I realized we had a competition show somewhere in the UK and they were celebrating a King Charles,” Buffett said jokingly.

“We have our own King Charles here today,” he added, gesturing toward Munger.

Buffett, 92, and Munger, 99, are known for sharing great camaraderie and mutual respect for one another.
