  • Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings and revenue results. The company also said it expects adjusted earnings per share to be in the range of $1.56 to $1.92 for the third quarter. Applied Materials shares fell 1.4% in after-hours trading to $128.11.
  • Analysts expect Foot Locker, Inc. FL earned 81 cents a share on revenue of $1.99 billion last quarter. The company will release its earnings before the markets open. Foot Locker shares fell 0.6% to $41.27 in after-hours trading.
