Elon Musk‘S SpaceX has targeted the launch of 56 on March 24th Starlink satellites into low earth orbit, or LEO Cape Canaveral Space Force space station in Florida with a falcon 9 Rocket.

What happened: SpaceX plans to launch 56 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit starting Friday at 11:33 a.m. ET. There are additional launch opportunities at 1:14 p.m. ET and 2:55 p.m. ET, the space exploration company said on its website.

“Static Fire Test Complete – Target Friday, March 24 at 11:33am ET for Falcon 9 Launch Carrying 56 Starlink Satellites into Low Earth Orbit from SLC-40 in Florida,” SpaceX tweeted.

The rocket company has also identified backup opportunities on Saturday, March 25 — at 11:08 a.m. ET, 12:49 p.m. ET, and 2:30 p.m. ET — for launch.

Assuming all goes as planned, the Falcon 9 rocket’s first stage will return to Earth and land squarely on SpaceX’s drone ship, A Shortfall of Gravitas, located off the coast of Florida, the company said .
