NEW YORK, Nov. 04, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Bernstein Liebhard LLP announces that on behalf of investors who have purchased or acquired the securities of Enviva Inc. (“Enviva” or the “Company”), a security – Class action lawsuit has been filed. ) Eve in between February 21, 2019 and October 11, 2022, inclusive (the “Class Period”). The lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.

Enviva, formerly known as Enviva Partners, LP, develops, builds, acquires, owns and operates fully contracted wood pellet manufacturing facilities. The company’s products are used to replace coal in power generation and combined heat and power plants. Significantly, Enviva touts itself as a “growth-oriented” environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) company with a “platform for generating stable and growing cash flows.”

Plaintiff alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants made materially false and misleading statements. Specifically, Plaintiff alleges that Defendants failed to disclose: (i) Enviva misrepresented the environmental sustainability of its wood pellet production and sourcing; (ii) Enviva has overstated the true measure of cash flow generated by the company’s platform; and (iii) accordingly, Enviva misrepresented its business model and the Company’s ability to achieve the levels of growth that Defendants presented to investors.
