On the nationwide alarm day – warning sign – persevered December 8ththOn August 10, 2022, Telefonica, in partnership with Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad (TIS), successfully broadcast two alerts – in German and English – from the Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance in seconds using Intersec Cell Broadcast technology. The test validated the solution’s high-end performance and validated the company’s experience in delivering public alerting solutions in a collaborative manner, in full compliance with data protection regulations and in compliance with EECC requirements.
