BOSTON, April 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — A class action lawsuit has been filed against Medical Properties Trust, Inc. MPW for breaches of securities law. The lawsuit alleges that during the class period, the defendants made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose the following: (1) One of its largest tenants, Prospect, was under significant pressure affecting the financial health of its Pennsylvania properties impaired (2) there was an increased risk that Prospect would not be able to meet its financial obligations; (3) Given the extended period of recovery in Pennsylvania, it was quite likely that Medical Properties Trust would record an impairment on the Pennsylvania properties.

Who is Eligible?
