Xiang Lei, director of the Leshan Sports Bureau, said that the Leshan Sports Center previously lacked indoor venues and children’s sports areas, and the occupancy rate of the soccer fields was low. After the renovation, a 300-square-meter children’s basketball court was added to the Leshan Sports Center, and the central football stadium was completely replaced with artificial turf to reduce maintenance and operation costs and make it easier for citizens to play football.
