Putin dispatched a team of intelligence officers to monitor his daughter

Russian President Wladimir Putin reportedly sends dozens of Russian intelligence officers to watch his daughter Katerina Tikhonova35, on her travels with her boyfriend.

For the past four years, Tikhonova Visited London, Munich and other locations.

Corresponding a report by Der Spiegel and Russia-based media outlet Important Stories, Tikhonova is escorted by an “army of special service officers” at the expense of Russian taxpayers every time she travels abroad.

Based on leaked intelligence documents, Der Spiegel reported that on a trip to London in March 2017, Tikhonova was accompanied by six Secret Service agents who were booked into three hotel rooms.

The report added that the intelligence officers sent after the security detail of the Russian president’s daughter “were forced to huddle in pairs in cramped London hotels.”

On another visit to Sweden Putin’s Daughter was accompanied by no fewer than 10 officers from intelligence services that were once part of the KGB.

Two of them have been identified as Dmitry Dankov and Dmitry Posunenkowho had personally guarded the Russians president.

The leaked document also showed how Putin used government funds for his daughter’s trips abroad, using a luxury Gulfstream G650 business jet.

Katerina was previously married to Russia’s youngest billionaire Kirill Shamalov40, son of a close associate of Putin.

Meanwhile, Putin’s war against Ukraine has taken a new turn. On Friday, a senior ally said the Kremlin would not halt its military campaign in Ukraine even if Kyiv officially renounced its bid to join NATO.
