The President of Ukraine delivered a strong message to the President of Russia at the end of his historic US visit Wladimir PutinWhose unprecedented war in Kyiv has claimed the lives of thousands of people and Infrastructure in shambles.

What happened: In a joint press conference with the US President Joe Biden, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he wanted to tell the Russian leader he was “destroying our lives” in Ukraine.

“So what kind of message can I send him after he actually destroyed our lives, he destroys our lives?”

Zelenskyy said that when he took over the top post in Ukraine in 2019, his government constantly communicated with Putin to avoid this conflict and find a diplomatic solution.

He added that Putin agreed at the time that there would never be a “full-fledged war.” Although “he lied”.

“I think there’s something mortal about his inadequate approach to the world,” he adds, “he must be interested in getting the world’s attention because he’s not a subject for civilized people.”

Zelenskyj too spoke to Congress on Wednesday and received a standing ovation during his nearly 25-minute speech. He also criticized Iran for supporting Putin Kamikaze drones that Moscow has repeatedly used to attack Ukraine.
