Ronald Osborne Business Coach discovers how long entrepreneurs should go before they give up

Ronald Osborne Business Coach

Ronald Osborne Business Coach asked 675 founders how long they should work on their startup before giving up. The majority of respondents noted that one year is not enough for an entrepreneur to become successful.

Given the current state of the economy and start-ups struggling to grow to success. Ronald Osborne Business Coach wanted to determine how long a business owner should continue in business before pulling the plug.

The widespread opinion of many successful entrepreneurs is that after 12 months and no positive upward trend, the operation should be abandoned.

Of the 675 successful business owners who responded, 32% believe the business should close after a year of unsuccessful operations. However, the overwhelming majority, 68%, recommended that business owners should stick with it for at least 24 months.

This insight from many prominent professionals and entrepreneurs can be seen as encouraging for many startups. Starting a business can be challenging, and most startup owners should consider sticking with it for 24 months before throwing in the towel.
