Psychedelics biopharmaceutical company FSD Pharma Inc. GIGANTICThe Advisory Board of has a new member: legendary entrepreneur and infomercial creator Kevin Harrington.
In addition to assisting in the development of its R&D programs and product development, Harrington intends to expand FSD Pharma’s reach and brands to include the beverage industry and general business relationships and advisory board with other high-profile business people.
One of the original sharks on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” Harrington has founded over 20 highly successful companies that have collectively generated over $6 billion in global sales.
“Kevin has always been a visionary at the forefront of the dynamic field of marketing and has demonstrated over the decades the tremendous value he brings to companies in which he is involved by sharing his brand expertise, network and business knowledge,” said Zeeshan Saeed, President and President of FSD Pharma Vice-Chairman.
Harrington sounded enthusiastic and engaged in equal measure. “Throughout my career, my investments have had the common denominator of ground-floor opportunities in research and development of products that I believe can be transformative, be it a beverage, a kitchen utensil or, in the case of FSD Pharma, a strong pipeline of therapeutics, which includes potential products that may provide significant relief in cases of alcohol abuse.”
Harrington noted that irresponsible drinking has well-known adverse effects, making it “an area ripe for innovation” and that he hopes to help FSD Pharma make “important societal impacts”.
