Skanska expands hospital in San Antonio, Texas, USA for $95 million,…

STOCKHOLM, December 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Skanska has signed a contract with CHRISTUS Health for an expansion of Christ Santa Rosa Hospital-Westover Hills Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, UNITED STATES. The contract is worth it $95 millionabove 960 million SEKwhich will be included in US orders for the fourth quarter of 2022.

The project consists of a five-storey cast-in-place concrete tower annex to the hospital, a new construction of approximately 50,000 square meters with a minor renovation. The project will be completed in three phases, including a new parking area, a new bed tower and a partial renovation of the existing ground floor.

The start of construction is planned for 2018 January 2023 and is expected to be completed in February 2025.
