Tesla bear Michael Burry deletes Twitter account again after…

“The Big Short” investor Michael Berry deleted his Twitter account again, but this time afterwards express his trust in its CEO Elon Musk.

What happened: Burry, who uses the name @michaeljburry on Twitter and goes by the nickname “Cassandra,” could not be located on the social media platform at the time of writing.

Twitter displayed “This account doesn’t exist” instead of Burry’s usual account.

A handle following Burry also noted the trader’s absence on Twitter.

Why it matters: This isn’t the first time Burry has deleted his account, earlier in 2021he deleted his account after arguing with Musk about the sale Tesla Inc TSLA shares. He is a well-known bear of the electric vehicle manufacturer.

On Tuesday, Burry said: “Ok, I will not delete in the future. Elon has my trust. For now.”

Burry lost his Twitter verified status in April. musk promised to restore it and said, “You’ll get it back even though you shorted Tesla, you bastard.”
