Tesla Shareholders Meeting Tomorrow: Here’s How To Watch, What To Watch For…

Pioneer of electromobility Tesla, Inc.s TSLA The annual shareholder meeting is scheduled for this week, and investors are looking to the event as a catalyst that can do that Lift up the sagging stock.

The schedule, venue: The electric vehicle maker’s 2023 annual shareholder meeting is scheduled to take place Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. EDT at the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas.

How to watch the event: The Annual General Meeting is planned as a hybrid event. The Company is allowing a limited number of shareholders to attend the event in person and conducted a random draw to determine who may attend.

The company offers the remaining shareholders the opportunity to participate virtually, and a live stream will be made available to the general public.

The virtual shareholder meeting will have the same live stream open to the public, as well as the opportunity to cast votes and provide written comments on meeting agenda items.

What’s on the agenda: A proxy statement filed by Tesla in early April indicated that five proposals would be discussed at the meeting, four from the company and one from shareholders.

Proposals sponsored by the Company include the election of the Class I directors listed in the proxy, approval of executive compensation, approval of the frequency of future executive compensation votes and certification of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the external auditor.

The only shareholder proposal to be discussed at the meeting relates to reporting on key personnel risk.

It is clear that Tesla advises against voting for the shareholder proposal.

The three candidates Tesla has nominated for three-year terms as Class 1 directors are CEOs Elon Musk, Chair Robyn Denholm And JB Straubel, a former Tesla executive who is now taking over redwood materials, a battery recycling company he founded. While the other two were already on the board, Straubel would be a new addition to be replaced Hiromichi Mizuno, who resigns from the board.
