This Tesla model could be the best-selling vehicle of 2023 and not only…

A new report highlighted a leading role Tesla Inc TSLA Vehicle, its growth and a new standard it could set in 2023.

What happened: Electric vehicle giant Tesla dominated the US market and many countries around the world in the emerging sector. Tesla could have some of the best-selling vehicles in the world by 2023, helped by its target 50% annual delivery growth.

A new report from Recurrent Auto suggests that the Tesla Model Y could be the world’s best-selling vehicle by 2023 reported by Teslarati.

The report expects Tesla’s Model Y to continue its momentum and overtake established auto companies in the new year.

In 2021, the Model Y was the 19th best-selling vehicle worldwide, jumping 260 spots on the list and seeing a 412% increase in units sold.

The Tesla Model 3 was the ninth best-selling vehicle and gave Tesla its first annual top 10 vehicle.

Benzinga previously shared predicting that Tesla will have at least one of the top five selling vehicles globally by 2022, with the potential for both the Model 3 and Model Y to be in the top five.

Ford Motor Company f was also expected as a winner in the same report, with the F-150 Lightning electric pickup expected to be a top seller in 2023.

The report also forecast fleet orders for electric vehicles from companies such as Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN could rise, which could be good news for Amazon affiliates Rivian Automotive Inc RIVN.

A car and driver report In October, Ford’s F-Series was the number one best-selling vehicle in the United States, followed by the Silverado General Motor Company GM and the ram pickup off Stellantis NV STLA. Toyota Motors Corp TM Fourth and fifth on the list with the RAV4 and Camry, respectively.

The three best-selling vehicles were all pickups, which could make it difficult for a Tesla vehicle to crack the top three in 2023.

The Model Y and Model 3 ranked 13th and 16th, respectively, on the list for the first nine months of 2022.
