Twitter employee falls asleep on floor as sophisticated Elon Musk pushes hard to…

Twitter at Tesla, Inc. TSLA chairman Elon Musk tries to turn things around as can be seen from a photo recently shared on the microblogging platform.

What happened: Esther Crawford, director of product management at Twitter, was spotted asleep, wrapped in a sleeping bag, on the floor amid office furniture that appears to be part of a conference room from which the photo was tweeted evan jones, a product manager for Twitter Spaces. He captioned the tweet “when you need something from your boss at Elon Twitter.”

Further explanations came from Crawford herself, as she retweeted Jones’ tweet and captioned it, “When your team is pushing 24/7 to meet deadlines, sometimes #SleepWhereYou Work.”

She went on to say that it takes time and energy to do difficult things.

“I have teammates all over the world struggling to bring something new to life, so showing up for them and keeping the team clear is important to me,” she added.

As Twitter is in the midst of massive business and cultural change, people are giving up “their entire capabilities,” including product, design, engineering, legal, finance and marketing, Crawford said.

Finally, she thanked her family for their understanding and also expressed their appreciation for the work she is doing. “Building new things on the scale of Twitter is very difficult to do. I’m fortunate to be doing this work with some of the best people in technology,” Crawford said.
